Welcome to the Kurth Family Tree - this is an attempt to document, in words and
pictures, as many members as possible of my own family. At
present this consists of four main family lines: The Kurth
(or Kuert) family originating in Switzerland, the Herden family from Germany (Silesia - now in Poland), the Klar
family, also from Germany (Sudetenland), and the Causer family from Staffordshire. These family trees are by no
means complete, present members may be missing, and some lines
have not yet been traced very far back in time. I am always
looking for new relatives to add to these pages, so if you have
any new information, corrections, or pictures, please contact me.
I would like to thank all the members of my family who have
helped with information for these pages, especially Paul Herden of Warendorf, and Karl Michael Viering of
Bremen, Germany, for their exhaustive researches into the Herden
Family; Norman
Causer for supplying his brother-in-law
Brian Jackson's researches into the Causer Family - and
John Causer for expanding on this; Andrew
Lade for his work on the Lade Family
Tree (which is now linked to this site), and Margrith & Hans
Kurth-Meyer for their help with the Rütschelen Burger Rodel.
You can enter the tree at any point and navigate through the
hypertext links for parents and children, or use the following
links to go to particular families:
